Today 30^th of June 2019, a statement supposedly came from the presidency by one Garba Shehu whose position the laws of this land does not know.

In the statement, buhari doubled down on bringing foreign killer Fulani herdsmen into textbook garrisons all over Nigeria. I will dissect the statement paragraph by paragraph and show you that buharis reason for ruga has NOTHING to do with stopping open grazing or reducing the genocide being committed by the Fulani herdsmen.

The Presidency gave details,

“Ruga Settlement that seeks to settle migrant pastoral families, simply means rural settlement in which animal farmers, not just cattle herders, will be settled in an organised place with provision of necessary and adequate basic amenities such as schools, hospitals, road networks, vet clinics, markets and manufacturing entities that will process and add value to meats and animal products.” – Shehu

1. Migrant pastoral families do not exist.

Fulani herdsmen moved around with their cattle, not with their family. Their family are not taken on the journeys when they move the cattle. Therefore, the actual plan is to bring in foreigners from where they presently live (without complaint), and this is to be done with our scarce resources for foreign entities.

“Beneficiaries will include all persons in animal husbandry, not only Fulani herders.” – Shehu

1. This is a lie because Shehu just said in the first paragraph that the scheme is for migrant families. Whilst I insist that there are no migrant families, nomadic herdsmen that we know are all of Fulani extraction. There are no other tribes amongst the over 400 ethnic groups in Nigeria that are nomadic.
2. There is no time that pig farmers (who are not fulanis) have been invited as stakeholders in this animal husbandry story, despite Pig farming being a major contributor to Nigeria’s economy.
3. Miyetti Allah in Nasarawa in 2018 said “cattle colony is cheaper, affordable and is inclined with the norms, culture and tradition of Fulani herdsmen” This is a clear indication shehu, buhari and the rest are lying.

“The federal government is planning this in order to curb open grazing of animals that continue to pose security threats to farmers and herders.” -Shehu

1. The victims of Fulani herdsmen are pockets of farmers and tens of thousands of women and children mostly Christians who are murdered in their homes, far away from any farm by armed Fulani men (who are without cattle) in the middle of the night!

“The overall benefit to the nation includes a drastic reduction in conflicts between herders and farmers, a boost in animal protection complete with a value chain that will increase the quality and hygiene of livestock in terms of beef and milk production, increased quality of feeding and access to animal care and private sector participation in commercial pasture production by way of investments.” -Shehu

1. This is another lie. The proposed settlements are actual towns for the families of these killer Fulani herdsmen. The herdsmen will still be moving their cattle from one place to the other! This ruse is clear from the job designation given the proposed Agro-Rangers. The then agric minister said Agro-Rangers will escort migrating Fulani herdsmen as they moved from one colony to another to prevent destruction of farms and theft of cattle. Why do you then need to build towns exclusively for same nomadic Fulanis who already have homes where they are coming from? There is no plan to process milk or meat in any farm settlement.
2. The Miyetti Allah that is the sole beneficiary of this project had said in 2017 that their cattle cannot be confined to enclosures, do they have new breed of cattle now? No they dont!
3. What will happen is that the killer herdsmen will have tactical advantage and a government recognized and protected staging area for their jihad.

“Unfortunately, some state governments that have not signified interest in the scheme and, therefore, are not on the invitation list, have been misleading people that the federal government is embarking on a scheme to take away their lands.” – Shehu

1. Shehu will later admit the FG already gazetted land ALL over the 36 states for same ruga settlements! And we all saw the signboard in Benue, a state that rejected the ruga settlements, we all also saw the contract for houses to be built within 4 weeks in Taraba, a state that also rejected the ruga settlements.
2. There is a plan to smuggle in ruga settlements into states that refused it using the Osinbajo National Livestock Transformation Plan!

“As we seek a permanent solution to these unwanted conflicts, efforts must be made to ensure that no innocent person faces any kind of deprivation or loss of right and freedom under our laws.” – shehu

1. Buhari seeks no solution but domination. Innocent people, mostly women and children have suffered deprivation of their very lives. Many more have lost their homes to these same killer Fulani herdsmen. Rather bringing the killers to justice, the buhari government has instead ensured the law enforcement agencies fought on the side of the killer herdsmen and also protect them as they hold on to stolen lands.

Conclusion.

The buhari government has not brought one single Fulani herdsmen to court for prosecution for any of the thousands of murders done by them. I challenge anyone with evidence to the contrary to share same.

There is no single evidence of Fulani cattle being killed to warrant the tag of “farmers/herders clash”, simply put, there is no clash! Rather its a massacre and genocide of Christian farmers from other ethnic groups. A massacre supported by buhari. The only time we saw dead cows in the last 10 years was when a train hit cattle that was crossing a railbridge!

The Fulani herdsmen are classified as the 4^th most deadly terrorist organisation in the world. buhari is using unconventional and unconstitutional powers to situate these same terrorists right in the heart of every state in Nigeria. Rumours say buhari is being funded by Saudi Arabia and the OIC to achieve these ends. This will qualify as state sponsored terrorism. This will also make buhari the latest terror sponsor to have seized power of a sovereign state like Omar al-bashir of Sudan.

Buhari is an obstinate man that sticks to his lies to achieve his purposes, remember his non existent waec certificate and his insistence that Abacha never stole money despite contradictory evidences, including physical receipt by same buhari of monies stolen by Abacha?

The Fulani government is advised to immediately halt this brazen and illegal ongoing land grab for Fulani in Nigeria else formal complaint to the UN, US, UK and the international community at large will be laid to tag buhari a terror sponsor that he is.

And for those who love their lives and children, be prepared to silence paid Fulani apologists amongst you, they are paid to misdirect and lie to you, this was how you found yourselves here as endangered species in the first place!
