Buhari Goes To Hague

Many Nigerians know what DSS means even if they do know what it stands for. Many however may not even know what ICC is not to mention what it stands for, I will tell you as soon as I tell you why President buhari, his Attorney General and Audu Ogbeh among others are heading to Hague ostensibly as the only world leader (world leader Lol!) invited to deliver a keynote address in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the adoption of of the Rome Statue of the ICC.

It sounds like a normal photoops opportunity arranged at the expense of the improvesrished Nigerians to bolster the image of a non-performing ‘give me time to stop your daily murders’ president when looking at the news headline barely days old where the same ICC said they have received 131 petitions from Nigeria. According to the report from Saturday Punch Newspapers  “Several Nigerian groups and persons – including the Christian Association of Nigeria – had in recent times said they would drag the Federal Government before the ICC due to persistent killings carried out by armed bandits in the Middle Belt and alleged military attacks against pro-Biafra protesters among others. The report was made available in response to Saturday PUNCH’s request on the number of petitions from the country based on the persistent killings, particularly in the Middle Belt.”

President buhari has at both local and international fora made excuses for killer fulani herdsmen who have gone on a mission of ethnic cleansing, genocide and religious jihad. This same group classified as the 4th deadliest terror group seem to be enjoying government protection in Nigeria with the buhari led government alongside Audu Ogbeh insisting on gifting them hundreds of thousands of hectares of land. In fact femi adeshina the spokesman for buhari was so bold as to tell Nigerians to basically give up their lands or die, this is coming on the heels of several stories from survivors of the massacares done by these killer fulani herdsmen who said the Nigerian military seem to be working with the killers. It is on records that both the Inspector General of the Police and the Chief of Army staff both publicly took sides with the killers and refused to enforce the law or protect Nigerian lives.

Buharis culpability along with that of his security echelon is therefore not in doubt with several bodies sending petitions to the ICC in these regards even if diplomatically crafted. I believe buhari is going to Hague to pervert the course of justice.

The ICC for those who many not know stand for International Criminal Court, and the court has the jurisdiction to prosecute individuals for the international crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, buhari stand accused of these same crimes by a multitude of Nigerians on the social media and traditional media even if veiled in case of the latter.

Now, what is buhari going to do in the same ICC within a short notice and why is he going to be meeting with the chief prosecutor Ms Fatou Bensouda? Is it right for a man already accused of genocide to be having a secret meeting with the potential prosecutor and be going to the dinner with the President of the ICC Chile Eboe-Osuji?

Let all those who wrote the petition take note of this abberation and send their protests to both the ICC and the United Nations, many christians and non-fulanis are being murdered in their sleep with buhari technically urging the killers on. How come the spokesgroup for these terrorists are not yet labelled as terrorists ditto the killer fulani herdsmen themselves?

Ms Fatou Bensouda is a Gambian muslim, buhari without seeking approval from the NASS deployed the Nigerian Army into Gambia to help install the current president of Gambia Adama Barrow who happens to also be a fulani, the same tribe that makes up these killer herdsmen who have been using supposed lack of grazing pastures to carry out an islamic jihad and ethnic cleansing.

@IntlCrimCourt should take note of this and not hide under the technicality that details of petitions are not made public, buhari is the subject of those petitions and should not be allowed to sit in secret to sell lies to the prosecutor or influence her, by leveraging on the fact that the President of the ICC is currently a Nigerian. The US Whitehouse should take note of this injustice at its incipient stage.  Yomilawal says it cannot be right for an accused to meet with the judge or the prosecutor in private without the accusers present. If buhari is being invited to state his side of the story, it cannot be done in secret!
