We have microscopes, they are used to enlarge things for us to see with our naked eyes. Some things are however macroscopic by size, you need no enhancement to be able to see them, such are human bodies and cattle.
Things are not always that easy however, especially when it has to do with movies.
Growing up in the late 80s, TV was a luxury and the death of cinema in Nigeria was well in its final stages so we cherished whatever we could watch when we are chanced to do so. It was basically a civic duty and act of camaraderie for whosoever had the opportunity to watch a movie to commit what he was watching into memory, scene by scene. Forget what language the movie was made in because subtitling was also in its infancy, all that matters is you must know who the “boss” was (he never dies) and how he defeated the “bad guys” as the movie progressed.
