Cup or no cup?
Unusual, Nigeria made the 2018 Fifa men’s worldcup by the whiskers. Why we always scrape through but first giving fans near cardiac arrest is a mystery that requires solving. What requires no ‘permutation and combination’ is that the Super Eagles appear to be the most fashionable team in this Fifa tournament. BBC Africa has the video of women and men apparently swooned by the dressing of the Nigeria team, they used endearing words to describe the Eagles it would be a shame if we fail to make it past the group stages.
The Nigerian jersey, the Super Eagles football kit had earlier made its own news in the international friendly stages when over three million preorders on NIKE online store left a snaking line of buyers queued outside the stores as they tried to get their copy for the Nigeria vs England friendly that was scheduled for the following day, Nigeria lost the match by a goal less to England.
We however won the style as even CNN admits it is the most stylish football kit of the World Cup 2018, hopefully that award comes with a Cup on its own and the Eagles wont be flying back home with mere flapping jersey that I call the Wakanda kit, their performance at the friendlies give little joy but who knows, soccer is a game of goals not performance!

Russia raised the bar high today with their astonishing 5-0 win against Saudi Arabia. It’s really about goals and let’s see what the Eagles are able to do on Saturday. Make dey no fall our hands
