It was with indignation then later amusement that i read the open insult thrown by one Sadiq abacha one of the sons of the late and nationally hated dictator in Nigeria, general Sanni abacha.
Before I address what sadiq whom must have been a toddler i would guess when his father died (and the whole nation rejoiced) said; i spent less than five minutes to Google the name “abacha” and got the following. this link effectively shows a few of your father’s crimes and how he robbed the nation comatose

Aside this, your father killed so many people during his brief reign and created so much fear that people spontaneously rejoiced wildly when news of his sudden demise in the hands of two non Nigerian prostitutes was heard. You might have been a child then so let me do you a comparison, remember the atmosphere that goes on in the country when the super eagles win a crucial football match, such was the kind of celebration that evening when we heard that news, I remember that day, I was in Eket about to buy something from a corner shop when I saw people suddenly scream and jump into the street rejoicing, I asked what happened and was told abacha was dead, you needed to see how I ran as if crazed to go meet my friends in the house to rejoice with them! That was the kind of terror your father was.
Now lets take your self delusions one by one.
Your law of identity – things are what they are, whether you like it or not.
Abacha your father might have been a good father to you but he was a terror to majority of Nigerians whether you like it or not, his role model was Pinochet (you might have been wondering why he wore dark shades like a gangster)
Your law of exluded middle – a straight yes or no
If anybody above the age of seven during the reign of your father was asked this question “was general sanni abacha a good man?” 99% of the answers you will get is “NO, he was a wicked man” the 1% are those in the corridors of power and your family friends given access to loot the country.
An apple doesn’t fall to far from its tree, I guess its this law that made your father murder ken saro wiwa and others in cold blood (instead of finding a middle ground) for crimes they did not commit.
Your law of non contradiction – don’t contradict yourself
Your father when he couldn’t be saddled with the running’s of the daily affairs of Nigeria, he gave half his powers to Mustapha and gave the rest to buhari in form of PTF! Your father concentrated on looting for you and the rest of your family also on giving orders to get those that challenged him killed whilst Mustapha ensured he got security reports that would fuel his fears and buhari did stuff to make it look like the country was running.
So in all sadiq, you tried to defend your father which is worthy, I feel you but in that feeble defense you also attempted to rewrite history which is not possible.
Sadiq, the zamfara states created can be unmade (it’s a matter of legislation and the will to do so) your father’s evil legacy however cannot, the people he killed cannot be brought back to life, toyin onagoruwa, kudirat abiola, saro wiwa, to mention a few.
You said fact are facts, you do not own the rights to your facts, well the facts remain that General sanni abacha was a cold blooded mad man. Unfortunately, just as it is if its raining on your golf day and you just have to deal with it, this mad man happened to be your father so deal with it! You cant change that.
You alluded that progress made in Nigeria during your fathers reign of terror showed he was a good leader, let’s visit Germany for a bit, Adolf hitler’s reign was characterized by tremendous advancement in technology, his V2 rockets paved the way for man to land on the moon years later, he made germany very wealthy but have you seen any thing no matter how small done to immortalize this mad man who made germany great but killed so many people? I don’t think so, its almost a crime in germany for you to speak of this evil incarnate, that is what Sanni abacha deserves! He deserves no burial talk less an award!
My point is the little achievements of general sanni abacha cannot erase our memories of his atrocities the likes of which had never been seen in this country.
I won’t even attempt to discuss Nigeria as an entity with you, how could you possibly know what Nigeria is and who Nigerians are? When they count Nigerians I don’t think you would count as one, you were brought up with stolen money, cocooned from reality I’m apt to believe you read a different newspaper just like your father did because your speech smacks of absolute disconnect from the facts on ground.
Lastly, if your family wants Nigerians to forgive your fathers wrongdoings, kindly return the billions of dollars he stole which your family still control with which you were given a lavish wedding and which I guess is giving you the effrontery to talk down at a man older than your father, a man better than your father, a man you can never attain to be because you already have a terrible start.
Deal with those.
