Call to duty!
To sit on the fence and feign ignorance,
To look at the cup and judge an ocean,
To bask under the lamp, pretending its the sun,
All don’t change the fact that a burning house is inhabitable!
In search of land the queen came armed with guns and gospel.
Thus a babeldom was forced to live as one!
Each keeping her dagger each her swords,
A treaty is no glue, amalgamation not binding beyond the paper!
Set in 60 and decided in 63,
Born a freedom and wealth a people,
Ground nut fueled the vision and power the mission.
Until the gold came and destroyed the black nation!
Invasive as cancer the gnats took root,
Sucking and gorging, the festering began.
The destruction of a people begun by her very guardians!
The warlords made to believe its the same fiefdom,
The traders thought it was a free market,
The industrious felt it was a vast opportunity,
Thus started a divide wider than that between heaven and hell!
Now, you don’t bring a knife to a gun fight!
Neither you cure madness with kindness!
Preaching to the devil won’t make a difference!
Without the shedding of blood no remission of sins!
Waiting for the death watcher to step in is futile,
Waiting on religions even more stupid,
Haven’t you heard that freedom must be demanded?!
Wake up from your fantasy and defend your lives!
The pigs are in control and faithfully served by the dogs.
Animal farm born in the land of the real!
Like the federation against the south,
The battle for the soul of this nation has to be fought!
Listen Nigerians, no nation will come to your rescue,
No prayers would send a savior,
And no piety will save your generations!
Be a man and free yourselves from this shackles!!
Your sons and daughters will ask questions of you;
What you did when their future was squandered,
Why you looked as their inheritance was plundered!
Rise up my people!, chase the wolves away and secure your harem!
